Human prothrombin fragment 1+2 (F1+2) ELISA
The measurement of F1+2 is a marker of thrombin generation, and thus an indicator of local activation of blood coagulation, as thrombin itself is impossible to quantitate.
This quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay allows for the specific measurement of recombinant and natural human F1+2 concentrations in fresh or frozen cell culture supernates, serum and plasma (EDTA or heparin) without prior sample purification. The standard curve spans the range of 31.2-2,000 pmol/mL with a minimum detection limit of 7.8 pmol/mL. This ELISA is for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
