Human D-Dimer ELISA
The D-Dimer ELISA is a standard sandwich enzyme immunoassay allowing for the quantitative measurement of human D-Dimer, the smallest, plasmin resistant fragment of the crosslinked fibrin degradation product, in either fresh or frozen plasma without prior sample purification. The ELISA is for research use only, not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. The standard curve spans the range of 10-200 ng/mL with a minimum detection limit of 2-4 ng/mL. The D-Dimer concentration in normal human plasma is usually < 400 ng/mL. D-Dimer concentrations are elevated in cases of trauma, inflammation, Infection, and pregnancy.
